Davis Darvish

Dr. Davis Darvish is a first generation American born (Iranian descent) research scientist. Davis currently resides in the Los Angeles metro area in the state of California.
Darvish received his B.S. (2006) from the University of California, Berkeley in Materials Science and Engineering, his M.Sc. (2008) from the California Institute of Technology in Applied Physics and his Ph.D. (2012) from the California Institute of Technology in Materials Science. He is currently the executive technical consultant for his company Breakthrough Materials and Technology. Breakthrough Materials and Technology is a technology consulting company servicing clients with various needs in a variety of industries. Examples include execution of research and development for a solar renewable energy company and technology management for a leading Los Angeles construction and development company. Davis previous held positions at Intel Corp, Caltech, UC Berkeley and Johnson & Johnson where he has made great scientific contributions which furthered our understanding of thin film semiconductors, crystal growth, as well as renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics and thermoelectrics. He currently holds 1 U.S. Patent and 1 Patent Pending and has several other intellectual property holdings not yet disclosed. |
